A 79-year-old man was lightly wounded by Iranian cluster missile debris in Kiryat Ata on Friday morning, emergency services stated on Friday.
He was treated by Magen David Adom medics on site and then taken to Rambam Hospital for further treatment. Magen David Adom defined his condition as mild.
Emergency services did not report any further bodily injuries, although they did provide care to several people suffering from post-traumatic symptoms. Moreover, the cluster munitions damaged a number of buildings and vehicles.
There were several sites of fallen shrapnel in the Haifa area and surrounding towns, with Israel's Channel 12 reporting that 11 sites were being investigated by emergency services.

The impact area included infrastructure at the Bazan oil refinery, the company confirmed, which has been targeted in previous attacks.
In earlier barrages, missile shrapnel struck the facility, causing localized damage and temporary power disruptions, though no casualties were reported.
